Quick answer

No — ONE PIECE has no numbered Haki levels.

What the manga does show:

  • Three types, explained by Rayleigh in chapter 597.
  • Inside each type, a basic use and a further use that only some fighters reach.
Type Basic use The further use the manga shows
Observation (見聞色) Sensing presence and intent Seeing a little into the future (ch. 860, ch. 894)
Armament (武装色) Coating and hardening the body or a weapon Hitting without touching, then destroying from inside (ch. 939–947)
Conqueror's (覇王色) Overpowering the will of weaker people Coating attacks with it (ch. 1010)

"Advanced Armament", "Advanced Observation" and "Advanced Conqueror's" are labels used by fans and the English wiki to group these. No chapter we know of uses them, and none numbers the steps.

Evidence layers.

  • Earlier chapters are CHAPTER-REFERENCED: each point is one that at least two independent sources agree on (sources at the foot of the page).
  • Chapter 1195 is PRIMARY — MANGA VERIFIED, read directly on Shonen Jump+.
  • We couldn't check the exact Japanese wording of the older lines, so English quotes below are paraphrases.

The three types (chapter 597)

On Rusukaina, Rayleigh explains Haki to Luffy:

  • Observation senses things that can't be seen.
  • Armament is used as invisible armour.
  • Conqueror's overpowers the will of others. Only a select few have it.

One line people misplace. "One in a few million" is often credited to Rayleigh. Per the English wiki, it is said at the Amazon Lily arena in chapter 519, not in 597.

The line that matters for "levels". Rayleigh says Conqueror's Haki can be trained to be controlled, but not trained to grow directly. It grows only as the user grows. That is the opposite of a level system: there is no exercise that moves you up a rung.

Observation: from sensing to future sight

  • Basic use: sensing people's presence and intent.

  • Chapter 860 — Katakuri. He has trained his Observation Haki so far that he can see a little into the future.

  • Chapter 894 — Luffy. He picks up the same ability during the fight with Katakuri.

  • Later:

    • In chapter 1042, Kaido says Luffy is not the only one who can see the future.
    • In chapter 1079, Shanks sees a future and acts to stop it.

Full record: who can see the future?

What the manga calls it. Katakuri's case is framed as Observation trained further, not as a new tier. No character calls it "advanced".

Armament: from coating to destroying from inside

  • Basic use: coating the body or a weapon so it hardens and can hit Logia users.
  • Chapters 939–940 — Wano.
    • Luffy can't project Armament past his fist.
    • Hyogoro shows him how, and names it 流桜 (Ryuo): letting the Haki flow so it strikes without touching.
  • Chapter 947 — the next step.
    • Hyogoro explains destroying a thing from the inside.
    • Luffy does it to a collar, the way Rayleigh removed Camie's collar back in chapter 504.

A correction many explainers need. Ryuo isn't a level. It is Wano's word for Armament Haki itself. "Trained in Ryuo" and "shown destroying from inside" are different claims. More in internal destruction Haki.

Conqueror's: from knocking out to coating attacks

  • Basic use: overpowering weaker wills, which can knock whole crowds out.

  • Chapter 1010 — 「覇王色」.

    • Luffy realises Kaido is coating his attacks with Conqueror's Haki.
    • Kaido confirms that only a handful of the strongest can do it.
  • After that:

    • Zoro coats his swords with it without realising it in chapter 1033, and uses it against King in 1035.
    • In the Elbaf arc it becomes the thing that interferes with a God's Knight's regeneration.

Full record: does Zoro have Conqueror's Haki?

Mihawk's definition (chapter 1194). He calls Conqueror's Haki "oneself". That fits Rayleigh's 597 line: it grows with the person, not through drills. Our reading: Mihawk: Conqueror's Haki is "oneself".

Why it isn't a ladder

  • No numbers. No chapter we know of ranks Haki as level 1, 2, 3.
  • No "advanced".
    • The English wiki groups these uses as "advanced techniques".
    • The manga's own framing is a fighter who has trained further (Katakuri), or a step Hyogoro calls the next one (Wano).
    • In Japanese fandom, 覚醒 (awakening) belongs to Devil Fruits, not Haki.
  • The steps don't line up across types. Future sight, destroying from inside and Conqueror's coating are different skills. Nothing in the manga says one is "higher" than another.
  • Conqueror's can't be trained up at all. Per Rayleigh, it grows only with the user.

That is why our Haki ranking counts which uses each fighter has been shown doing, instead of placing them on a level.

Through chapter 1195

(PRIMARY.) Chapter 1195 is about who reaches Conqueror's coating, and who doesn't yet.

  • Zoro says 「掴んだ…!!!」 — I've got it — and lands a massive black-lightning strike on Sommers. The chapter cuts away before the result.
  • Sanji hears Killingham say he doesn't have Conqueror's Haki. In flashback, Gaban says the aptitude should be there, with a self-destructive streak in the way.

Neither scene uses a level. Both are about whether one person can do one thing. More in does Sanji have Conqueror's Haki?

Frequently asked

Is future sight the highest level of Observation Haki? It is the furthest use the manga has shown. The manga presents it as Observation trained further, not as a final tier.

Is coating attacks with Conqueror's Haki the final level? It is the furthest Conqueror's use shown. Kaido says only a handful can do it. Nothing says it is the last.

Can anyone learn Conqueror's Haki? No. Per Rayleigh in chapter 597, only a select few have it. Those who do can learn to control it, but it grows only as they grow.

Is Ryuo advanced Armament Haki? No. 流桜 is Wano's name for Armament Haki itself. The techniques taught under it — hitting without touching, destroying from inside — are the further uses.

Who said Conqueror's users are "one in a few million"? Not Rayleigh. It is said in chapter 519, at Amazon Lily.
